Development Pitch
The Trial of Andrew Osher is incredibly engaging. From the first nightmare to the last, the imagery not only shocks the reader, but makes them continue reading to see what the next one will be about. As Andrew works his way through the aspects of fitful sleep and trying to understand what the dreams mean, he is sidetracked by beautiful, but clumsy, Megan Wright. When the lack of restful sleep endangers his job performance, Dr. Robert Reis tries to help Andrew put all of the pieces of the puzzle together, and finds that there's much more to the nightmares than Andrew realizes. The culmination of the story is when Andrew stands before God and a recounting of his life takes place. It is then that all that he's ever done, said, or thought is exposed to all. This book would be a fantastic movie feature. The special effects of the nightmares as well as the recounting scene would engage the audience from start to finish. The message of salvation that is included would tie up the story...of how far God will go to get our attention.
