Development Pitch

The Trial of Andrew Osher is incredibly engaging. From the first nightmare to the last, the imagery not only shocks the reader, but makes them continue reading to see what the next one will be about. As Andrew works his way through the aspects of fitful sleep and trying to understand what the dreams mean, he is sidetracked by beautiful, but clumsy, Megan Wright. When the lack of restful sleep endangers his job performance, Dr. Robert Reis tries to help Andrew put all of the pieces of the puzzle together, and finds that there's much more to the nightmares than Andrew realizes. The culmination of the story is when Andrew stands before God and a recounting of his life takes place. It is then that all that he's ever done, said, or thought is exposed to all. This book would be a fantastic movie feature. The special effects of the nightmares as well as the recounting scene would engage the audience from start to finish. The message of salvation that is included would tie up the story...of how far God will go to get our attention.

About The Author

L.A. Brown lives in a suburb of Houston, Texas with her husband, eldest daughter, a small zoo consisting of the basics (dogs and far) and on occasion, her two small Granddaughters come over to make sure the animals are on their toes. Her life consisted of various jobs...everything from pulling skeet as a teenager, to grooming dogs, to working the airlines, working at a bank and waiting tables. Through all of this, she has found her muses in day to day life, her family and of course, her "zoo." When she was in high school, she had an English teacher who told her, "If you ever get your head out of the clouds, you could write some good stuff." Well, it took over 35 years and a little pushing from a couple of wonderful authors whose table she used to wait on to realize that dream. Ms. Brown currently is on the blogosphere and can be followed at: www. as well as Twitter: www. and Facebook: www.
