Short Summary

Arthur, at age fifteen, was the winner of a great battle between British and Saxon forces, seizing the day from his own supreme commander, Ambrosius Aurelianus. This battle causes Uthyr Pendragon, Arthur’s father, to formally reject his son—through fear of Arthur’s growing power.

The Silurian, Book One: The Fox and the Bear ends with Arthur come fully to power and about to lead his warriors into their first major battle against an army of invading Picts. The narrator of the Silurian series, Prince Bedwyr, the Fox, tells of this powerful battle in book two of The Silurian.

About The Author

Author of BIG LONG BOOKS; epic Arthurian saga. Iconoclast. Maverick. Book One of the Silurian series received an Honorary Mention in the London Book Festival 2007 Born British, grew up in Australia; still in Australia, you cannot drag me away. Does things the hard way so it ends up as the good way, without any soft bits. Critical thinking sounds cold, but it isn't: it's a great skill that opens doors on new ways of looking at all kinds of things; makes me a better writer. Inspired, original writer. Critic of the status quo. Passionate, individualist and iconoclastic - an artist who cannot by the LAW of having rebellious DNA conform to the mass-market of what is conventionally published. "If you want something done, then do it yourself," ended up being the method of how I wrote all of the books in The Silurian series.
