Development Pitch
Agatha Christie meets Mayberry. A small town full of characters and secrets faces the death of a well-loved citizen. There are no apparent motives or suspects. The small police force has to rely upon it's inner resources and the individual skills of it's officers rather than high-tech crime-solving techniques. Solving the initial death only leads to more questions and deeper mysteries. Each of the three days focuses on a the skills of a different officer. As a movie, the the story presents a tight mystery not dependent on violence or fight scenes. As a TV series, the town and characters would lead to the development of more crime storylines and deeper character development. Viewers will want to learn more about the townspeople.
