Accuracy of Book Profile

Gabe has a talent for secrets both finding and spreading them. Deemed a priceless commodity by Judas, a leader in the ninth circle of hell, Gabe is recruited for his agency. Gabe leaves the underworld to work for Judas on Earth. Gabe must learn to work with his new partner Alex, a bolder brasher type of person and what true morality means.

Draw of Story

The world building is exquisite with lush urban fantasy of characters and unique ideas about power, good and evil.

Possible Drawbacks

It takes a bit for Gabe to be recruited in the beginning and thus the storm feels a bit drawn out before the main conflict is established.

Use of Special Effects

THE STORY RELIES HEAVILY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS

Primary Hook of Story

The hook is that Gabe is a double agent for hell who is supposed to monitor his partner Alex but ends up siding with her. He is a good man who did bad things and thus ended up in hell but has a chance to escape his fate by working for hell.

Fanbase Potential

This could have a medium to large fanbase in either medium due to the slow burn chemistry of the lead duo, the dynamic side characters and stunning visual descriptions. The fantasy elements may make for a slightly smaller audience, but this also has proven a draw in other stories so could be a non-issue.

Awards Potential

This is unlikely to have awards potential as a film due to its genre with action included but it could definitely do well in the television circuit depending on character development through various seasons.

Envisioned Budget

LARGE BUDGET

What’s New About the Story

The originality stems from the intricate details of hell as well as Gabe's mission as a double agent from hell. The superpower gifts are also fun and unusual.

Lead Characters

Gabe is caring but jaded with a strong moral compass filled with common sense over sentimentality. Alex is bold and unquestioning who prefers to act fast above knowing all the angles.

Uniqueness of Story

For an urban fantasy with a unique ideology, there is definitely something rare and special about this story in hell.

Analyst Recommendation

CONSIDER

Justification

The characters hold enough weight to function as a tv series, but the plot's ideologies and themes could also cater to film. It is a versatile piece that could be adapted into either format with above average original world-building with a lot potential. All characters, both the protagonist and antagonist, are relatable in some way and multi-dimensional.
