About The Author

Kelda shares her south Louisiana home with her husband, their four children and four wacky dogs. With a passion for education and young people, both young in age and young at heart, she has homeschooled her four children through graduation and has tutored students for over a decade. In addition, Kelda holds a BA in elementary education and an MA in counseling. Her fictional writing began in 2016 while facilitating a novel writing class with her students. This is her first published work of fiction. She self-published two non-fiction works: Call Their Hearts Home and TWPH-Insights into Living with Teens. When she’s not writing, she’s watching movies, listening to audiobooks, knitting, quilting, or crocheting, all the while, playing great music in the background like a soundtrack. Writing is a compulsion that occurs amid the chaos of life and dogs and constant interruptions. She believes life is full of opportunities to love. Be embraced.
