Development Pitch

The Gilded Sanctum is the perfect novel to be adapted as a film. It has a limited number of characters, an idyllic yet mysterious setting, and a time-based plot. Its protagonist is seeking atonement for his past actions, strategically revealed as the story unfolds, which adds an additional layer of intrigue to the immediate crisis in the present. Finally, the twists and turns will keep the audience off-balance as they attempt to follow the clues and solve the mystery but remain surprised until the very end.

About The Author

A social studies supervisor for a school district in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Keith Veverka loves writing, history, and education; all of which came together for his first novel, The Gilded Sanctum. Keith began his teaching career twenty-one years ago at a public school in Virginia, not far from the imagined location of the fictional academy in his story. Having lived and worked in the area for several years, he was intimately familiar with the state's rich Civil War history, which provides the perfect backdrop for this mystery thriller.
