Development Pitch
This is a small town, enemies to lover story. It includes strong family values, community connection and faith. Sophia goes on a journey of finding out that what she grew up thinking about her father and his family wasn't the truth. The one person she trusted in the world had lied to her. She comes home to find that life had moved on without her and she feels replaced. Poplar Falls is a town full of wonderful, funny and charming supportive characters that the audience will fall in love with. Braxton is a strong, sexy character and a great match for Sophie, who doesn't really trust men. They instantly dislike each other because of their preconceived notions and incorrect opinions of one another but as they slowly learn the truth they can't help but fall for each other. I believe this story would translate beautifully into film.
