Development Pitch

Dargo is a fun but serious novella about our need to re-connect with the Earth. Would suit a wide audience. Suitable for families, gifted children, and adults of all ages. It would make a tremendous animated or short film for television. The characters are well-developed, outrageous, and delightful, and Dargo is truly loveable. The underdog shall triumph! I don't think there's anything quite like this story and it is immensely topical - a tale for right now! I think the following reviews say it best : Some Review Comments for Dargo, Eco Hero! My 9-year son is always concerned about the environment and truly seeks to make the world a better place for future generations, so I took the opportunity to read this story with him and he absolutely fell in love with the magical characters and the plotline as a whole. This really is a fun and well-rounded story that will leave you feeling refreshed and happy. Fell in love with the characters Most everyone has been there before – rock bottom. The adventure McRoberts puts her characters through shows a level of innate humor and imagination that makes this story funny and absurd while still remaining down to earth. That’s what makes this short literary romp so enjoyable. It’s something that you can read from cover to cover - with a lot of laughs along the way. When you get to the end, you know that you have fallen in love with the characters and their stories. For an author to compare with - Neil Gaiman

In these dark days of overt racism, violence, betrayal, and plague, I hope readers find solace in my creations. Hope is light to the heart! As my character JT Gordon says in my time-travel adventure/romance novel, The Palace of the Stars, 'Don't measure your time in minutes, treasure your time in moments.' Indeed. Grab the quality."
