Embers is an epic paranormal adventure/romance about an eighteen year old girl who discovers that shes immune to fire. She travels to TN, where she is instructed about her heritage and the powers that go with it.

Embers is a combination of epic urban fantasy, horror, dystopian and paranormal romance, set in our world, but with otherworldly characters such as angels, demons, shape shifters and magical beings. The world is familiar, yet complex and will appeal greatly to lovers of shows like The Witcher, Stranger Things, Lord of the Rings, and Chronicles of Narnia. I created the story around biblical angel stories, so there are references that lead to a depth that a lot of paranormal shows do not have. There's also a sexy romance at the center of the drama, between Ember, who is a descendant of the arch angel, Uriel, and a 140 year old man, who's trapped in a teenager's body. His name is Sawyer, and he's descended from one of the fallen angels, and is labeled a demon. He must survive by sucking the souls out of living people. Their romance is sexy and dangerous and progresses through four books, where Ember must take action, sealing her fate in the ancient battle of good versus evil and the grayness in between. What gives this series so much intrigue is that it isn't black or white, and neither are the characters. Angels aren't necessarily good, and demons aren't always bad. The story keeps you second guessing your own ideas of what's right or wrong. And the story is epic, with appearances by arch angels, dragons, Lucifer, the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and even God. These characters are cleverly woven into a complex story that focuses on several young people and their choices.
