Development Pitch

A dance teacher, struggling to overcome the tragic loss of her child, connects with a naval commander, suspected of foul play in the disappearance of his wife, when he enrolls his five daughters in her studio. Mutual attraction develops, impeded by his ultimate arrest on a murder charge. The Studio takes the audience through the mental anguish of an innocent man as a murder case is built against him and the devastating effects on the children of a murdered parent with one who fears her remaining parent is responsible. A feel-good ending results when the teacher is able to comfort and reassure the children and a badass investigator clears the officer.
