Jason soon finds himself caught in a desperate life and death struggle with malign powers that threaten not only his daughter, but the fate of humanity. The conditions of the inheritance, that he publish a weekly story chronicling the healing capacity of love and goodness in unlikely corners, turns to tragedy as the subjects of these stories one by one are murdered.
