Development Pitch

"A Portrait of Mommy" is a true story of a woman who shares her life's journey and the ability to persevere heart breaking situations with the help of her faith. From personal tragedy that temporarily separated her family to bullying, abandonment by her mother along with facing social ills such as living through Jim Crow Laws, the Civil Rights Movement, and Pearl Harbor is all a part of the drama. A Portrait of Mommy" would be excellent for film because it's a true story that will take the viewer through various famous historical moments. It will inspire the viewer because there are always good times in the midst of controversy that requires us to seize those moments or we can become overwhelmed with the drama in our world. This book would create a great film for today's time because people want to envision hope in our world, unconditional love and the ability to share good will to all mankind regardless of what's going on. I, the author have had so many positive reviews regarding this book that I would love to see it go further because I know as it reaches a larger audience it will reflect the glimer of light that exisit in this dark world.
