Development Pitch

You're Cordially Invited to the Wedding Fight of the Season... This enemies to lovers romantic comedy pits a wedding planner against the man of honor in a fight to see who can come up with the perfect wedding, but along the way tempers rise along with the heat of attraction. Avery runs Sunshine Bridal with her two sisters and has always believed in happy ever afters. Too bad Carter Ross is not only arrogant; he mocks love and marriage. After his father's suicide, Carter raised his sister and vowed to take care of her. He needs to make sure Avery doesn’t run amok with the wedding since he never trusted his sister's best friend's wild ways back in college. With Avery and Carter wrestling for control, their connection grows, and they fall into an affair. Can Carter fight past his demons to allow himself to take a chance on love? Or is Avery meant to find her story book ending with a man who believes in a future? This book details the three Sunshine sisters and their rocky path to love. It’s filled with all the elements that make a perfect romantic comedy: a beautiful beach setting in quaint Cape May, NJ; the fascinating peek into the bridal planning world complete with bridezillas and hysterical wedding disasters; tons of sharp banter between the characters; emotional sisterly drama, a pint sized possessive rescue dog named Lucy who refuses to let Carter love anyone else; and the swoon worthy ending that plays upon the previous romantic comedy Notting Hill.
