Development Pitch
Like much legend and folklore, outlaw myths are most often born from a time when any facts were generally remembered and not recorded or documented. Even the documentation was suspect at best. So much so, that these outlaw legends despite being difficult to substantiate through irrefutable evidence, were equally difficult to disprove through undeniable evidence. Some argue that there was always indisputable evidence that Jesse James died in 1882. Some others don't agree. In fact, some make the preposterous claim that Jesse James is still alive today (more than 130 years past his first recorded demise) and recently robbed a string of the most successful nightclubs in the United States. Ghsot Bandit was written to be a screenplay. The settings are spectacular culminating with a gripping chase into the Aspen Mountains on horseback after a daring robbery at a swank Aspen nightclub that created in the image of the real-life Caribou Club.
