About The Author

About the Author Olga has a life-long love of writing and language. Her career has included several BBC local radio appearances, For many years Olga lived in France, where she researched Pensioners in Paradis plus her historical works Lamplight and Vichyssoise from original French sources. She likes nothing more than meeting people, reading and researching. Her published books with Crooked Cat have centred on three genres: crime (3rd Degree Murder), wartime history (Lamplight and Vichyssoise) and now the humorous, factional, non-fiction genre (Pensioners in Paradis: French Notes from A Broad.) In a further guise she has also written for children. Olga has a B.A. Hons. (Open) in the Humanities, specialising in English language and literature, and self-awarded Honours – gained after six decades of overcoming the rigours of dealing with stupidities and irrelevances everywhere - in the Humanity of Life!
