Development Pitch

Progenie is a character-driven work that combines urban fantasy and historical fiction. It is the first in a series. The mythology of the Abrahamic religions provides a rich backdrop as Zenobia Grant seeks to save her father from a savage force. Progenie connects a broad cross-section of readers with a multicultural cast of characters belonging to populations historically underrepresented in publishing. In addition, it includes a strong LGBQ storyline. Progenie has spent several days on Amazon’s bestseller list and was a Semi-Finalist for PARANORMAL Book Awards of the 2019 CIBAs. Literary Titan wrote, “…the most fascinating plots I’ve read this year”. The originality of Progenie comes from the complex research on Middle Eastern mythology and religion. It recalls the grandeur of her African heritage in the ancient world of kings and prophets.
