    Development Pitch

Ready! This book can easily be turned into a movie in a fantasy setting. The characters the scenery, the land of Galbothia, as you read the novel you can see it. The action in the fighitng scenes with the knights, the elves, the creatures and the enemy is so breathtaking. You can almost touch it and see it. Not to mention the other interesting happenings in the book that draws the attention of the audience. Such as, magic, witches, and mysterious lands. In this book you will read about certain cities in the earth under Galbothia, a powerful forest called the yumba forest. Magical and fantastic. I would like to see it done in a classic fantasy movie type of screen setting. With all the special effects to make the world of Galbothia alive. The audience would be thrilled and wanting more. This is the kind of story that brings that fiction, fantasy audience in great numbers to the movies. I am a fiction and fantasy movie junkie, and I cannot ever remember a big screen movie with all the bells and whistles to fill its audience ever fail. This novel has all the captivating hooks to draw in that audience. Who doesnt like kings, knights, creatures, swords, magic, warlocs, witches, army of knights and army of creatures, and castles and kingdoms both on the exterior of the earth and underneath. Such as in this novel into the underground of Galbothia where there is a totally whole new world never seen before until this young king goes looking for hope. I am ready to release this to you.

    Brief

Tenemor must take the place of his father the king of Galbothia. The kingdom is at war with the forces of evil and Tenemor must survive trials made for future kings. The forces of good pledge their armies to him when he passes, and he goes to war. With the help of the Creator and other celestial beings, Tenemor and his armies defeat the evil armies.

    What We Liked

THE KINGDOM OF GALBOTHIA is the epic journey of a son who is destined to be king and has big shoes to fill when his father is killed. He is now charged with the protection of the kingdom - when there are many forces of evil who have all but destroyed it. This is a story that has been told since time immemorial, and it is retold in different ways because it is a story that has stood the tests of time. It has happened in the real world in many time periods, and the fantastical element of this story makes it more interesting and exciting. Tenemor is an everyman, except for his birth, but
through trials and wise elders he is able to mature into a formidable young man – and he will have to be to go up against the dangerous incarnations of evil he will face. His journey is as thrilling as it is dangerous, and the creatures he meets – from heaven and earth – are always fascinating.

Film: This timeless story could make a great film. It’s firmly in the realm of fantasy, but there are human leads to anchor the story and attract name talent. Being fantasy, there is plenty of material to adapt into thrilling special effects. It begs to be on a big screen, and with the recent successes in the genre it won’t be tough to market as the genre has a large, built-in audience. It is structured to film, and it’s pace is even quicker than most of the recent genre successes.

TV: This book has plenty of story within it to make a great limited series. There are many story beats that would create good cliffhangers for episodes. The introduction of new characters will help keep it at a rapid pace, as will the different trials and battles the lead must face. The characters all recur throughout the story, with meaty roles for top-level actors. A streaming network would be ideal.

    Key points:
    1. Fantasy
    2. Celestial beings
    3. Compelling, attractive leads
    4. Dragons
    5. Quickly paced

    Synopsis

King Tahrek rules Galbothia, but is forced to go to war with various evil races who attack the beautiful, ancient kingdom. His knights fight bravely, but are defeated. Even the help of the elven races doesn’t turn the tide.

His wife and son Tenemor flee the land and hide underground. With the wisdom of his mother and his father’s knights, he grows into a mature young man after ten years. He embarks on a journey to take back Galbothia from the forces of evil and must undertake trials that any successful king must pass.

He completes the trials successfully, and reunites the races of elves, trolls and humans. He is given armies by these allies, including a princess he becomes engaged to. With the help of the celestial Creator, he is given battle plans and magical weapons and armor. Tenemor and his armies defeat the forces of evil after a long battle – and with the help of the Creator – and live a long and peaceful life. Then, his great, great grandson takes command - for the battles to come.
