Development Pitch
The journey of Rhonda and Ramon should've happened over sixty years ago, but because of the racial beliefs in the country, an interracial marriage was forbidden. The Chat Pile is the life that should've been. M.I. Norman's life should've went from coal miner's daughter to happy housewife, but that wasn't her fate. Rhonda gave up when she turned eighteen and decided to wanted to be near the ocean. The ocean seemed to wash away her memories. (for a while) Ramon, was driven by the fear his love was dead, and once he found out she wasn't dead he was determined to find her and marry her, no matter what.
