Development Pitch

Nature and Nurture tormented this young man and transformed him into an eccentric and ruthless killer. This is a graphic tale full of shocking twists that culminate into a high stakes ending. A demented "Forrest Gump". Like Forrest, John Goodman, recounts his life story from a victimized 12 year old. He befriends several notorious killers which affect his behavioral pattern. True persons and events: The Zodiac Killer, Joseph DeAngelo, Charles Whitman (the texas tower shootings), Jim Morrison (lead singer of the Doors), John Gacy's ressidence, Ed Kemper, Ted Bundy (Lake Sammamish), James Huberty (San Ysidro McDonald's massacre), and Aileen Wuornos.) These people and their true events have transformed John into a seventy-five year old diabolical killer. The real horror is not the murderous activities that are described within these pages. No, the pure terror will come from the transformation of certain characters leading to a suspenseful and climactic ending. This storyline is absolutely plausible and undeniably compelling. One could conclude that John Goodman is based on a factual sinister person who has evaded detection his entire life. Criminal college professors could use for extra credit as it depicts the diffetent types and stages killers are known for and go through. Pull out the facts from the fiction of the several true events that occurred from the 1960s to the 1990s.

About The Author

About the Author Novice writer. This is my debut novella. During my teenage years, I read numerous books about serial killers and mass murders. I have always been intrigued by what leads a person to such insanity. In 1996, after watching the movies Sling Blade for the first time and Forrest Gump for the sixth time, the idea started forming about a serial killer who goes through several trials and tribulations with factual characters and events. Hence: Crazy is, as crazy does. NOTE: Not In Biography: recently recently awarded 12th annual eLit Book Awards Silver Medal in the Horror Category.
