Development Pitch

A story with happy endings, except for the criminals, will inspire and educate on different crimes. There is a unique twist in solving a cold case to tweak the reader's interest. Life in a small town can be sad, funny, mysterious, yet hopeful. Faith Valley is a small and peaceful mountain town until a woman and her children relocate to escape an obsessed stalker. Even before her arrival a crime involving a cast iron skillet is committed. Other crimes follow. A list of characters, some eccentric, live in the community. Twins, Amelia and Celia and their husbands appear to have retired early from federal jobs. That is not true. They are well-trained agents who work for an obscure agency and go on assignments. Keeping their identities secret in a small town is a challenge. Leaving to do their jobs with all that is going on in their hometown is difficult. Love is also in the air. The local church has hired a young, handsome, Music Minister and the casserole brigade is in full swing. Other romances are beginning. The happenings will test the faith of the community, but they will persevere.
