Short Summary

Annie Finley's love for her husband, Daniel and their son, Jacob is why she's content to stay within the confines of their community. A devastating accident one stormy might changes her life forever. Jacob is killed. Daniel is critically injured. Sorrow and anger propel Annie's search for answers.


With Daniel getting stronger, they return home still mourning the loss of their son. A late spring snow fall-a robin's snow-fills them with hope realizing it is a sign from Daniel that he will be with them forever in their hearts.
