Development Pitch

This is the true story of one man’s epic journey from living and thriving in paradise to losing everything he had, but it’s also the tale of a flourishing country left to crumble in despair at the hands of its leader. David, the protagonist joined the anti-revolutionists with support of the US CIA, in hopes of ousting the Castro regime. He describes events and situations of his involvement making this story revealing as much as it is educational. I believe this story as a movie would create a lot of buzz, as it is relevant to the political condition of our country today. Besides the political nature, the story is riveting, captivating and inspiring. After the Bay of Pigs David learns of the hunt for his head and in fearing for his life goes into hiding until his harrowing escape across the Florida Straits by rowboat and making it safely to the US. Readers have stated how they could envision the story because it read like a movie.
