It's a friendship story about a young boy and a honeybee.

The story begins with the point of views from the honeybee and the young boy. The bee gets trapped by a garden spider. The young boy sees the bee trapped in the web on his way home and rescues him. The bee is so grateful so he follows him home and speaks to him...against protocol.

The bees are safely placed in their new home. The bee, who's been living with the young boy most of the summer has been asked to come back to the hive. He comes back. Both the bee and the boy miss each other and they reflect on their adventures. They will both meet next spring.

I truly feel this book can be made into a film. With all of the negativity out here in the world, we need an old fashioned, feel good, adventurous, friendship story. I believe people will fall in love with the characters in this story. I have faith this book will inspire children and adults alike about the power of friendship. Sometimes we all need to step outside of our realities and get away to our imagination. BeeFriend will take you there! You will laugh, you will cry, you will be locked in reading about the characters in this book. All I ask is for someone to read it and put yourself in Max's shoes or Hex's shoes.
