    Accuracy of Book Profile

Yes, the Book Profile does accurately reflect the book.

    Draw of Story

The writing style is incredibly engaging and the pictures in this book are beautiful. Readers will find it easy to connect with this sweet, simple story thanks to the dialogue and the art.

    Possible Drawbacks

Some of the pictures in this book are repeated multiple times. It might be more visually engaging to include fresh pieces of art for every new page.

    Use of Special Effects

THE STORY RELIES A LITTLE BIT ON SPECIAL EFFECTS

    Primary Hook of Story

The hook of this project is the inspiring and heartwarming message/theme. There are vital life lessons in this project, as well as compelling visual images. The positive message would make me want to watch this movie.

    Fanbase Potential

For parents looking for a wholesome activity, this adaptation would be an ideal film to take children to see. However, the book has fairly specific religious views, which could isolate potential viewers that don't share the same spiritual beliefs.

    Awards Potential

This adaptation would probably not have Awards potential without more development to the plot. With the right animators, however, it could attract visual awards.

    Envisioned Budget

    LOW BUDGET

    What’s New About the Story

This story is original because it touches on several important life lessons, instead of just focusing on one core message. It mentions karma, visualizing positive things, and the power of prayer. The plot itself doesn't feel particularly original for the children's genre. Adding a little more emotional nuance could make this project feel more unique.

    Lead Characters

Alessandra's inquisitive and friendly nature makes her stand out. She is always willing to learn more and she likes asking questions.

    Uniqueness of Story

For religious readers, this is absolutely a rare gem. Being more inclusive towards other religions could make this a more universally commercial book/adaptation, but it is already quite strong as it is.

    Analyst Recommendation

    RECOMMEND

    Justification

As a sweet and simple children's book with a religious slant, I would definitely recommend this project. It is full of positive and thoughtful messages, the art is lovely, and the dialogue-style writing is engaging.

    Brief

When a guardian angel visits young Alessandra in her bedroom, she learns about God's love, her own power to change her world, and the fact that she is never alone.

    What We Liked

This story conveys a number of wonderful and positive messages for children. It is well written and uplifting, with beautiful art to keep kids visually engaged. The writing style is simple, but clear and easy to follow. The focus on dialogue makes the story feel personal and intimate, though the themes are fairly universal.

Film: Because the art is already quite strong in this story, it would be a great fit for an animated adaptation. There's plenty of material for a short film, and developing the story in more detail could make this an endearing and touching feature film as well. So many parents would likely want their children to learn the valuable messages that this film has to teach.

TV: It's easy to imagine this adaptation on a children's network such as Disney Junior. With a few tweaks to the story and a little more plot, viewers could see Alessandra and her guardian angel tackling all kinds of relatable problems together. Expanding the world and introducing Alessandra's family and friends would also help fuel future episodes.

    Key points:
    1. Engaging writing style.
    2. Uplifting and educational core themes.
    3. Sweet and simple storyline.
    4. Curious and likable main character.
    5. Creative premise.

    Synopsis

At bedtime, Alessandra asks her mom if she can stay up for five more minutes. She then receives a surprising visit from her guardian angel, Angelisse. Angelisse is the guardian angel who protects Alessandra day and night. Angels live in heaven, but they can hang out anywhere they like. The angel tells Alessandra that every person in the universe matters and is unique, how everyone in the world is like family, how parents are teachers and so is God, how actions cause equal reactions, how to visualize good things and block out the bad, and other vital life lessons. Alessandra realizes that she is never alone, and if she ever needs help, she need only pray and God will send angels running to her.
